Bought to expand my Time Machine capacity and it was literally plug an play. Starbucks barista takes longer than what it took to setup this HD.

had to do a little dancing to make it work on a MAC but fine now

I bought this for my PS4 to add all my PS Plus games on & all my hard copies also. I was getting tired of deleting to make room whenever I bought a new game, but now I have all the storage in the world. I never had my PS Plus games downloaded​because I never had the extra space, but now I can play any of those games at anytime because they are downloaded ready to play, & still only used up ½ of the new memory.

This is great for extra storage and travels will when on the road. I use it to keep laptop disk space utilization to a minimum.

This passport is awesome.I don't have to worry about Mechanical parts failing since it is small enough to carry around.I had no issues with this drive when I bought and opened it up.Everyone should buy this name brand drive.Just avoid bigger harddrives cause they break easy.This Harddrive is worth your money.This product powers up by usb only.I love it cause it saves a headache.Thank God WD made something with good products.This drive will probably last longer since it is designed differently.

I was able to store all my photos and audio files from my old desktop. Very easy to operate and still has room for more

Good hard drive. Easy to format for all platforms, PC and Mac. Transferred data fairly quickly from 2.0 to 3.0 drive.

Good price for the amount of TB you get. Small, compact and quiet. Using as Time Machine backup and no problem so far.

This 3 TB external drive is fast. It plugs into my HP all-in-one USB 3.0 port. It can store multiple backups.

I’ve owned both this and a previous My Passport from 2015. This new version is cosmetically different than the old one, but other than that it functions the same. I didn’t use any of the included software, and I ran into initial issues formatting it on MacOS. WD has an article about how to do it properly on their website, and if you follow the directions it works fine. I don’t consider this a fault of the drive however since it’s a MacOS problem.

We have not had it long yet, but it has freed up a lot of space on our computer and has so far been reliable for us.
