    Failed fairly quickly. But not completely. Lost my data, not critical though. Using it as a swap-through on copying large chunks after performed a non-quick format after that failure. Works in that capacity OK for now

    I have used Seagate in the past and thought this would be just the same. I had some issues with initial set up so returned it and got another Seagate sent to me. I imagine it would have been fine if I took a few more minutes with it but why bother?

    The usb port broke and will not power on the hard drive anymore. It is now a dead brick and will have to contact customer support to see if they can fix the power issue and also recover my data. Great.
