Used it for a week without a problem, suddenly my Mac would no longer read it.

Advertised as 4TB But usable storage only 3.6 Terabytes.

Had an old home server as NAS doing nightly backups and serving media files to PLEX server on main computer (more horsepower than old server). Well, the old server was starting to act 'iffy' at times. Instead of losing quite a few movies and TV shows stored on the old server, got this 4GB portable to save the files before the old server blew a gasket. Files transferred nicely and at a good speed using GoodSync to make the process go unattended. Now the portable is connected to main computer to feed the PLEX server. All the years of collected media files are safe and sound. Will re-build server with better operating system and put it back into service on down the road. Meantime this nicely priced large capacity portable drive has taken the 'iffy-ness' out of being able to view my media library without having to reboot the server to get it percolating again. Shout out to Best Buy for the "price match" philosophy... I have gone to Best Buy three times in the past week to pick up something that was definitely less online, but since BB will match the price I don't have to wait for delivery from the "Big A" on those "gotta have it now" items.

Picked this up to increase the storage on my PS4 and it works great! When I first plugged it in, I did get a notification that it wasn’t formatted correctly, but I got a second notification inmediately after saying to go into Storage settings and format for Extended Storage. It took like 2 seconds to format! Super easy to set up and transfer content over! I also love that it’s small enough to sit on my PS4 and barely be noticed. Definitely worth it!

After the most recent firmware update for my PS4, which gave it external hard drive compatibility, I was excited to finally get some much needed storage space. I went to my local Best Buy and picked this up. It formatted in a matter of seconds and I was transferring all of my downloaded games in no time. It runs quiet, I don't even know it's there. Games play smooth off of it as well. I am extremely happy with this purchase. Great product!!

This is a great hard drive for a great price! A really good value. It is also very easy to setup and use. The 4TB capacity it quite enough for most home uses, and the USB 3 capability allows for fast data transfer.

Fast for 4TB Harrd Drive and I store my games on here and it's not that bad.

I use this for large work files so I don't use up all of my laptop memory. It is easy to set up (just plug in to USB) and slim for putting in a briefcase or backpack for travel.

I've had this for more 5 years now and it's the first external drive I've ever purchased where I didn't end up having to format at some point or the other. Still works very well. Fast upload/download. I use it on my television and have hundreds of movies, music and photos on there and still not a single issue. I bought it during Black Friday so I got it on sale. I was able to save on an awesome product.

Good is Drive, Quick copy file. Good to back up for long term.

I love this thing! Very easy to set up and had no issues when saving my game files. I was even able to transfer my ps4 files to my ps5.

Data is getting bigger and we're needing more, larger storage capacities for our files. 4TB was perfect and should get me though the next couple years. It's nice to have files stored off-computer so it doesn't slow it down.

I have this for 10 months and I am glad I have this to back up my data. The backup software it came with was not useful or hard to use but got a free one online that works better ( freefilesync).

As a loyal customer of WD all I needed to do was to find out that Western Digital came out with a 4tb hard drive & I was Sold! Quality product + More memory = Why ask more???

I bought this external HDD a couple a days ago. When I went to the store, I was in search of the Seagate brand. However, they didn't have it in stock. So, I decided to have a go with the WD brand. As a result, all I've gotta say, it's that I love this drive. It works really fast. Plus, it comes with some WD apps which makes you everything easier.

Works perfect for my PS4 Pro. Just plug it in, it will say "not supported". Go to settings then satorage, format it and boom works like a charm. Only took minutes to set it up. Looks good too with the PS4 blue light accents
