I plugged it in and spent about six hours transferring 1.5TB of games to this external drive, from the 2TB drive I swapped in shortly after I purchased my day-one PS4. Since Sony deemed that SATA II is as fast as they'd need to include in the standard PS4, this thing actually loads faster than the internal drive. Crazy, but that's how it is. No complaints from me. Faster load times, more storage, and probably will make the transfer easier when I upgrade to a Pro.

Bought this for additional storage for my Xbox One. Smooth setup/installation and has been working solidly for 3 months now.

HD is pretty much plug and play for the XB1. Gives me way more space to fit all the games I have for the system.

Plays my plethera of music and movies flawlessly. Doesn't get hot but you need to be careful with it when you plug it in. If you start moving it around you can hear/feel the disk inside spinning.

For anyone still using Win XP you can use the full 4 GB despite what's mentioned on the web. The 2GB limit is based on # of blocks, but the block size is now 4K (most docs were written when hard disks used 512 byte blocks). I reformatted to the newer ExFAT filesystem (in hopes of avoiding bugs in the old OS handling 4K) and when I migrated to Win7 I didn't notice any problems (there's some doubt about how well pre-Win 10 versions of the OS can handle the 4K block size).

I bought this as a portable back-up for music, movies etc. I have run video off this drive and had no issues. There are no bad segments so far. Overall a few months in, a good drive for a great price. I will try to update if anything goes wrong.

Large amount of storage for the ps4. Should not run out of space now. So far the drive works flawlessly.

4 TB, lots of room to store my files. More dependable than Seagate. Western digital had Nice reviews. So far so good.

I saw this at Best Buy and the price was right...performs as expected.

I purchased the My Passport unit to replace an older, very slow unit so I didn’t expect getting started with this new one would be a big deal. Wrong! The user interface and documentation are subpar so it took much longer than expected and required serious searching for answers. There’s lots of information on the internet but it’s not well organized making it difficult to find an answer. However, once I got it set up and have been doing scheduled backups for about a month, I am quite happy with it. The backups occur as scheduled and it’s very fast. I’m using it to backup files on a laptop so I connect/disconnect it frequently. The small size makes this an easy task and I purchased a nice storage case to keep it safe. For the price, I’m very happy with my purchase.

Needed external storage for a ridiculous amount of pictures and this drive has been flawless. Highly recommend!
