Can use 4GB on XP

The 2GB limit is based on # of blocks, but the block size is now 4K (most docs were written when hard disks used 512 byte blocks). I reformatted to the newer ExFAT filesystem (in hopes of avoiding bugs in the old OS handling 4K) and when I migrated to Win7 I didn't notice any problems (there's some doubt about how well pre-Win 10 versions of the OS can handle the 4K block size).

4tb for a good price

There are no bad segments so far. Overall a few months in, a good drive for a great price. I will try to update if anything goes wrong.

Doesn't get hot but you need to be careful with it when you plug it in. If you start moving it around you can hear/feel the disk inside spinning.
