I actually have three of these My Passport 4TB External USB 3.0 Portable Hard Drives in red. black, and blue. I rotate the backups. All of them work great. Much fast than my old 2TB drive from another brand.

I started using GoPro video on a business application. I soon ran out of memory on my desktop. The 4 TB size is just what I needed, I went back a week later and bought another one for my personal use.

Fast hard drive and overall very responsive and portable. Only thing negative is the fact that it already has .4 GB space taken up for the software. I wouldn't have minded if it was .1 GB, but a whole .4 is a bit excessive if you ask me. They should have 4tb full size instead of cheaping out the customer. In general the drive works great and very portable.

Got this to connect to my Xbox one s, it works perfectly! All my friends that own Xbox's have switched over to using these HDs. Highest recommendation for this drive, lots of storage space for a great price! A+

I bough this external hard drive at a great price for the amount of storage it holds. It reads very rapidly and file transfer is fast as well. I highly recommend it if you work with any file size.

Such a good product to buy, small but has more than enough room for multiple back ups. I have all my work folders and papers on here and nothing has been lost or left out of my back up.

I have tried quite a few brands bought from brick and mortar stores, and I gravitate toward the WD Passport brand for the security features. This version is better than the previous model - though bigger, it is much faster and more compatible across my different computers. I wish it had a few more features, but it works great for what it is and I got it here for a great price.

I have several Passports and have never had a problem with them unlike a couple Seagate backups I had. These last forever and work well. The software that comes bundled can be a hassle at times

I got this for my PlayStation 4 now that it supports and external drive. Works great and it's all the storage I need. Now I can have all my games ready to go.

I got this to backup my desktop, and to backup my music collection. I've been very happy with this. Loads fast, and holds a LOT. No issues whatsoever with this.

This drive is really nice if you need a way to backup your files. I purchased it to backup all my files on a couple of computers. If I get a ransom virus on my computer, I want to be able restore my files instead of paying someone a ransom to access my files. The drive is compact and fits in my back pack. I've purchased a couple of these drives and they have worked well.

Good replacement for a 5 year old 4TB drive that ran out of spare sectors. I use it as a backup drive for my laptop and Acronis True Image software without issues.

Use this to take pictures and data on the road so I don't have to worry about taking a computer. Use it like a large USB thumb drive.

This 4tb storage is wonderful, it helps my son on his xbox with his games that need constant updates and not needing to delete games for storage.

This was purchased for extra storage for a PS4. It works absolutely perfectly. Just had to let the PS4 format the drive. Absolutely effortless.

This is an upgrade from my previous passport that I loved. I updated to a terrabyte drive to try to do more with music and movies. WD's passport drives are generally great. Never an issue.

It's an external hard drive, I didn't expect more than what I got. It was everything I needed, and it formatted to my PS4 Pro easily. Worth the buy, do wish they were cheaper in general.

Very nice storage when i need it where i need it without having to go online and dowload from the cloud. Great when you do not have internet service. Always buy Western Digital very pleased with the products.
