    I am so glad that I purchased My Passport. I am in the process of writing my dissertation and needed an External USB to safe all of my work This works perfectly. I would recommend this product to any customer. You get your money worth. I like the fact that it has an USB extension for the newer mac and the old mac. Love it!

    My older external drive is an WD brand and I've been happy with it. I purchased this WD external drive for the new iMac I bought at the same time. What a difference in size!! My old one is the size of a thick book; this one is the size of a deck of cards and takes up much less room on my desk. I will be using it as a Time Machine backup to my new iMac.

    I connected the drive via Time Machine on my Mac. The initial backup took awhile as expected, but successive backups have been quick. I use three drives. This is my second Western Digital drive. Both have been fast and reliable. I do quite a bit of photography, so I’m very concerned about my drives reliability. Neither of my WD drives have given me any reason to worry.
