I have a Mac. I bought 3 of these to have rotating back-ups. They work great. Easy to set up, and rename the drive as appropriate.

I've owned several of these. They're great little drives for using with TimeMachine on the Mac. They don't require external power, which is great and it's easy to find a storage case for them. They do have moving parts. Since I trust this device with my backups, I replace it every 4 years and move my old backups to the new device. Very easy to use.

I’m not super astute when it comes to external hard drive installation and backups...this is a great unit for partitioning data and doing weekly Time Machine backups. After watching a couple of how-tos on YouTube, it was pretty easy. I love how compact this little thing is and how easy it is to use. I’d definitely buy another.
