Just what we needed. With home schooling and limited access to her teacher my daughter records most of her online classes so she can replay and study them because she feels like she doesn’t fully concentrate on the class because she is taking notes. This takes up a lot of space.

Has great storage. I was able to download all the data from my MAC. The external drive has still more storage even after this download. It is worth the money I paid.

This was a great price when I bought this drive. Runs fast too.

I HAVE PURCHASED THESE BEFORE AND THEY PREFORMED BEAUTIFULLY, THOSE I USUALLY PURCHASE A BACKUP PLAN, SO WHEN THEY DO FAIL I AM COVERED. BEST BUYS HANDLED IT GRACEFULLY, WHEN THE ITEM CAME IN THE WRONG BOX, I TOK IT TOO THE STORE AND THEY MADE SURE I WAS HAPPY. GOOD JOB!

A very nice back up storage device for my photographs. Another one I purchased that was a different brand, crashed. I had bought the the Best Buy protection program and was able to bring that one back, and for a little more money purchased this one. Very happy so far.

This is a perfectly adequate back up external hard drive for your Mac or iMac. It is an older model, but it comes with a dongle to convert from USB A to USB C.

Replaced a damaged backup hard drive for my laptop. Best Buy installed it so my backup's were easily continually updated.

I've had one hard-drive for my mac and it just went out. This is my second one, so far so good. However, we'll see how long this one lasts.

Let us face it, MacBook computers, specially the new ones, have always being short on HD space, unless you are willing to pay some few extra hundreds. so having this wonderful external drive with the right connector(USB-C) makes it the right way to go. Inexpensive and high quality.

Works like a charm. I've been able to use this to transfer from my old computer to the new one and then some. This is exactly what I needed.

Reasonably speedy, has USB-A cable with a USB C adapter and it comes formatted for Mac HFS+. WD has a free download to enable Windows 10 to be able to read from and write to an HFS+ drive (WD drives only- Paragon will sell you the full version if you like it). My experience is that they are not drop dead reliable, so have a second backup drive for really important files and replace it at 3 years.

You can’t go wrong with this western digital drive. It’s very reliable and the length of warranty gives me confidence that I can use it without failure. I highly recommend it

This was a good choice to use for a backup for all my files music and photos , it is small enough that I can travel and take it on the go .

Drive works excellent right out of the box and is properly formatted for my Mac. I was able to easily and quickly enter Time Machine and begin backing up. Much simpler than my previous one that required a reformat before it worked with Mac. Grab it while it’s on sale!

Had to use this to transfer footage from a production shoot, they are always in stock and are reliable.

I got this passport to back up my computer. I was very happy that all I had to do was plug it in and it was ready to go. I didn't have to do anything else.
