I bought this as means to back up my AirBook and to quit relying on Apple's iCloud. The only problem I'm having is fully deleting old back ups.

Process does take a long time the first time (12hrs.), so plan to backup overnight. My only suggestion is that it could be used with both Apple and Microsoft operating systems.
