Had to return

The first backup of my laptop worked fine but then I was unable to save photos to the drive the next time I used it. And also I couldn't shut the drive down and eject it. While I like this brand a great deal, I had to return this item. Hopefully this was just a "lemon."

Dies within 2-3 years

Both have now failed less than 3 years after purchase. They just quit working and no way to retrieve the data from it. I thought the first time was a problem with the transporting of the drive, but evidently, this is just a problem with the My Passport. I'll never buy one again.

Expensive and complicate

I thought was just plug in and use but you need to download a few EXE programs to use this drive and their website doesn't help.

It took me some time to try it and now the store cannot change it. Now I don't know what WD will do to fix it. I do not recommend WD.

Difficult to set up

Quick and easy

Its quick and easy to set up and use. All I had to do was plug it in to my Xbox, format it for games and apps and I was ready to start transferring games. You can use it to back up your games or you can transfer games/apps. It is fast at transferring and copying also. I would definately reccomend this product for storage expansion on Xbox One.
