Affordable, works well, until it doesn't

We were able to spend $75 and have most of the data recovered from it, but it was junk.

I tend to use external drives on my MacBook Pro in order not to use all my HD space and these do the job. I wish they were thunderbolt equipped but we cannot have everything.

Good value, pay extra for Mac? Fast and reliable

Data storage has gotten a lot cheaper over time. This “Mac” drive is more expensive than the windows version for no reason. You can plug the windows drive into a Mac and just format it. The windows drive is less expensive but was not in stock at my best buy. Otherwise it’s great
