I have a 2018 MacBook that I had to restart once I plugged it in, in order for my Mac to read it. Later I plugged it into a desktop to copy movies over, and that computer could read it, but not as a hard drive, so I color open it. A bit frustrating but nothing serious.

I was looking for something that will communicate with my iPad Pro. The salesperson stated that this will do the job. The price was right and the capacity should allow me access to all of my files.

Nothing special but works well

I can't review the software that comes on the drive because I immediately wiped it and formatted the drive to use with Time Machine. Can't complain.
