I can't review the software that comes on the drive because I immediately wiped it and formatted the drive to use with Time Machine. Can't complain.

I tried to get it to work to transfer some receipts and photos on my phone. NEVER WORKED!!!!! I tried again today and still DIDN'T WORK. I didn't know that there was a time limit for a item that was worthless. Infuriated ‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️

We have not tested the drive on mobile devices or an android device. Therefore, we recommend you to move the data from phone to computer or vice versa using your computer. I still haven’t been able to get past 1TB of storage. It works very well with iOS devices and transfers all data in a short amount of time.

I think it was just a bad apple because I have several of these drives and none has ever failed on me. It's a bit slow. for video editing but ok for storage.

Passport for MAC

The first 2TB one I had developed a problem with the cord. The first 4TB one I bought was defective and was returned for this 4TB one. It was a little difficult to set up and I had to call Apple for assistance.
