I purchase this hard drive because I didn't have no more memory on my ps4 with this hard drive because I didn't have no more memory on my ps4 with this hard drive I was able to transfer my games to this and this freed up my hard drive this really came in handed. I would recommend to everyone to buy.

I had a 1TB external before getting this and needed the upgrade. I bet I could have figured out how to easily transfer, but I ended up transferring back to the PS4 and then to this. Other than that, loving the extra space so I don't have to worry about deleting apps for a long time.

I bought due to constantly downloading/updating games on my PS4 Pro. And now with have the extended drive with more than enough space, I have not had any issues space or downloading. So yes I love my investment and would definitely recommend getting one.

It’s worth it no problems at all works just as it’s suppose to just plug it into your PS4 and it works no formatting needed. I wanted to wait to post a review just in case it broke or stopped working but over a year later still running strong

These items are crucial if you want to play without having to pick and choose the few games that you want to keep on your system. If you get the monthly free games, you can run out of room really quick and I was tired of not being able to download and try them without spending half an hour picking some to delete. This has worked well. It will occasionally glitch and act like it might have lost its contents, but the quick option to repair always sets it right. It's just a little contrary, that's all.

For someone with a PlayStation with a small hard drive, this external hard drive was a lifesaver! I no longer worry about running out of space and having to decide what I should delete off of my counsel.

The only reason I did 4 stars is that it has to be plugged in directly to the ps4. I had to remove my charger to plug directly into the unit. Unable to use the usb that is on the charging unit itself and purchase a dual charge with only one usb plug.

Easy to install don't have to plug it into a wall great for those who have a huge collection like myself. I'm over 210 games at the moment.

If you download a lot of games like me you already know the PS4 being limited to 1/2 a Terabyte is just no good. This gem allows 8x the storage space. Plug into port 2 USB, format it and download like crazy!!! No more memory management!

I have crashed so many computers and lost so many pictures and music. The external hard drive is easy to use. And now I know that I will never lose my pictures/audiobooks/music again.

We purchased the portable gaming storage product for our son as a Christmas present because he ran out of storage on his XBox. He is very happy with this product. He is now able to use his XBox and store more games.

With only 500 GB of internal storage. It's not enough to add more games. I rarely buy digital copies, but I like the idea of having more space. It works great and was easy to setup.
