A: If your software is up to date for the ps4, it should work. I installed this on a day one ps4 console recently. No problems at all.
Q: Would this work on Windows 10 to store and load my games from Steam?
A: It's actually just a really good external HDD. It should work like any other external drive. It's not even technically a PS4 extended storage device until the ps4 formats it as such.
Q: What is the RPM for this drive? Is this drive serial ATA? Thank you.
A: This hard drive is 5,400 RPM , i’m not sure if it is a ATA , but i think it is
Q: Will this external Drive work with windows 10?
A: Yes. It works with all versions of windows as well as iOS.
Q: will it work with xbox one ?
A: Yes, it works perfectly with XBox One!
Q: Can you save your game progress on this device or just the game itself?
A: Save files and other screenshots are still saved to the internal hard drive. It will store any and all games downloaded or other software downloaded though.
A: It will work, but you can get a 4TB drive for the same price, and while there may be a slight performance increase with load times, it's not 8x's better.
A: It is so easy to set up , just hook it up and then go to settings and click on devices , add device and follow instructions , be careful when removing the external storage you must go to settings and remove device before physically removing it
