• Save files and other screenshots are still saved to the internal hard drive. It will store any and all games downloaded or other software downloaded though.

• You can save anything that you can save on your PS4. It is just like the internal hard drive already in your PS4. You can set where to save things, the internal drive or the external one. You can move things from the internal hd to free up space.

• It depends on whether or not it’s under a different account. My boyfriend has 2 accounts so he switched it and it only took the games but I believe if it’s the same account it will save your progress
