QuestionI have an older model PS4, which I *thought* didn't allow for external storage. Will this work? Do I need a USB 3.0 adapter or other updates/changes to my PS4?

- Answer If your software is up to date for the ps4, it should work. I installed this on a day one ps4 console recently. No problems at all.

- Answer It's actually just a really good external HDD. It should work like any other external drive. It's not even technically a PS4 extended storage device until the ps4 formats it as such.

- Answer Save files and other screenshots are still saved to the internal hard drive. It will store any and all games downloaded or other software downloaded though.

- Answer It will work, but you can get a 4TB drive for the same price, and while there may be a slight performance increase with load times, it's not 8x's better.

- Answer It is so easy to set up , just hook it up and then go to settings and click on devices , add device and follow instructions , be careful when removing the external storage you must go to settings and remove device before physically removing it

- Answer This will work fine. If you are only using it for Mac, make sure to format it in the correct format. Apple usually asks you to format it in their specific format especially if you want to use it for Time Machine Backups. Time Machine will erase everything on the disk.
