    Used the WD external drives as part of my RAID1 raspberry pi NAS build. Work great. Fast enough. Never had a problem. I have two. 2 TB will probably store all of my video/work files/pictures for the next 10 years.

    I use this as my time machine backup on my personal MacBook Pro, and it works a treat. Heads up for anyone wanting to do the same, you will need to format the drive in Disk Utility and choose APFS or APFS (encrypted) for modern Macs.
