This 2 TB Ultra is so easy to have. You don't need batteries as it gets that to your desktop or what ever your working with. I used it to take folders off my old Desktop, and it got everything I put on it with a lot more space to work with. When you plug it in to a Desktop, or a portable unit it comes on immediately. I love how easy it is!!

This is so helpful as a way to save my data and backup my information beside the cloud. It's easy to use, light weight and holds a lot of information.

I’ve used Western Digital many time in the past. This compact hard drive fits perfectly in my briefcase and function great. I’m storing all my picture and documents in folder to keep them need and organize. This allows me to keep my laptop clear of rarely used files.

This isn't a SDD nor is it formatted for a Mac, but I didn't really notice much of a difference in speed when I used a SSD type external drive on my M1 MacBook Air. It was fairly simple to format for a Mac (under disk utilities app on any MacBook), and I got 2TB of storage for HALF of what 1 TB cost in a SanDisk SSD. So I'd say this is a lot of bang for the buck, especially if you get it on sale (I did). And a side bonus: It matches the silver color of my MacBook Air M1, and fits in my case that I already have. You can get similar cases from Buy for about $10. 2 TB is a must-have for photographers!!

This drive is very easy to use with windows operating system, Basically plug and play, data transfer is insanely quick, I used the drag and drop method. I gave it 4 stars because I’ve had durability issues in the past with this brand.
