I'm happy with this item. It has done what I had expected it to do.

works great for MacOS, good value, just about the right size for most notebooks;

Have only had this hard drive for a short time. Purchased to use as backup storage for my enormous digital photo collection. So far, no complaints.

Perfect external hard drive. We needed the extra storage and this was a good value.

Could be faster but gets the job done. If ssds are too much money this still can get the job done and efficiently.

The hardware - the actual external USB portable drive is an excellent drive. It has both the USB connector as well as a USB-C connector, and can be used for either PCs or Macs. The problem is the provided back up software - "Acronis True Image for Western Digital". If you are not familiar with it, it takes a while to have it do what you want to do, when you want it to. This software is also licensed for your use for up to 5 years. Assuming the drive will last longer, then you have to purchase an update.

Perfect size for carry around in your backpack to go. Works great with Timemachine on Mac OSX, i should of bought this a lot earlier.

I found this external drive to be very useful. Not only that I was able to back up my data, but it is small and easy to carry around.
