This is an excellent product and very easy to use.

The portable hard drive was easy to use. I was surprised how fast it was able to transfer my photos.

It is kind of hard to use at the beginning but now I think I get to know it more and it is frankly nice

It is a very product for me when I was looking for a ssd drive when there was none

Bought one in Yellow and this Grey one. Both malfunctioned. WD drives are usually very reliable, so maybe the two I bought were a fluke. I will not buy this particular model again, but I DID BUY 2 EASYSTORES by WD and both working fine.

I tried everything and never got this to work. End up returning.

Tried multiple attempts to set this up. Each time would not start. Contacted Tech Support and was transferred to an entirely different number where a technician asked me to pay for tech support

This product, although a bit overpriced, certainly provides flexibility with computing and storage systems.

I had to repurchase to find out it was only a cord that went bad on my past one.

I purchased this drive on 8/25/2019. I used it for the first time on 10/10/2019. I plugged it into my laptop, and did a backup using file history. I ejected the drive later that evening and plugged it in on 10/11/ and it said my drive needed to be reformatted. It was still visible in the File explorer. I ejected the hard drive safely. On 10/12/2019 I plugged in the drive and it was not visible in windows explorer. I can't find any good support for what has happened to this drive. I have found no documentation for this drive.

Originally got this to back up my photos, after using it for about 4 months it failed, now I'm trying to use data recovery to get my portfolio back

There is a software included jn the SSD and I just installed it and set up was so easy. Now i got my Mac backup in case of any issues.

Backups are great, but recommend backing up your back ups if you use this one.

worked great...until it didnt. Opted to go with a HDD instead of an SSD because of the price but am i regretting that decision. Took care of the hard drive (always ejected, never moved while it was plugged in) because i know these things can be pretty susceptible to damage and of course I go to plug it in and its not even being recognized by my laptop. As soon as i plug it in, it makes a couple buzzing sounds like the needle is trying to read but wont even show up. Looks like i'm biting the bullet on this one. Do yourself a favor and go with a SSD.

Always had WD for years and worked great. Bought new MAC and extremely difficult to connect. After repeated try’s returned and bought G Drive. Hooked up instantly.

Lightweight and works as expected. Arrived ontime. Would reccomend.

I have a scheduled daily backup. The Ultra will not perform the backup. The only way to back up is manually after unlocking the drive through WD Security. When I am logged on to the PC at the scheduled time of back up, the backup does not occur. When attempting to search for why, there are no good links at the WD site which would point me in the right direction. Tool is pretty useless for trouble free backups.

I purchased this on September 10th, 2021 to serve as a backup drive for a new laptop. It took me 5 weeks to get around to using it. I was looking to reinstall the Wester Digital backup utilities only to find this product is no longer supported by Western Digital and I was unable to register it for warranty!

I would have given it 5stars, but the usbc to usba adapter has the usbc recptable fitting loosely. I ended up purchasing a Satechi adapter at works perfectly.

It comes with a 15” USB C to USB C data/power cable as well as a USB C to USB 3 A adapter. This disk is smaller then the other 2TB drives.
