I'm thrilled that WD has expanded its portable external hard drives to 3TB, and I love the fact that no external power supply is needed - just plug it into a USB port and you're good to go. I've expanded my collection now to four hard drives and every one has been absolutely perfect - no problems whatsoever. And you can't beat the price!

I have many WD Passport drives and have used them for years with great results. This one is no different. Great deal when on sale.

Easy expansion for Xbox one storage. Does not work with ps4 though. Very easy to set up.

Great hard disk, no issues so far. The build quality is a bit cheaper though, compared to my 4yr old 1TB WD. But it does the job.

Use to store music/video for watching and listening to while traveling. They have all worked great. Oldest one is 3 years old.

Headline says it all! I can copy work in 2 minutes and bring it home and BAM! Its done. Reload at work and BAM! Im ready to get started! im always amazed at how FAST it uploads and downloads. Plus its large enough to save multiple generations of my work! Glad i purchased 2! Definitely would purchase again! Fits in my purse too.

I needed a hard drive to store a lot of movies on. I travel a lot and wanted one that would hold a lot of movies but still be as small and lightweight as possible. This one is just perfect. Ultra small and neat and took a ton of movies. Highly recommended.

You get a 3 tb drive in size of a wallet that you can take with you anywhere you go. This little device is great. Instead of carrying around my large hard drives or dealing with the cloud I just use my hard drive. This way I do not have to worry about additional outlets or or an internet connection.

This replaces a 1.5tb external hard drive from WD. This new 3tb works just as well. Hopefully I do not need more space :)

Needed a small, but large capacity auxiliary drive and looked at it at Best Buy. This choice seemed to be the best to meet my needs. Have a need for lots of storage capabilities (large RAW and processed photographs as well as some video work). It's silent and only requires a USB port for power and porting of files.

Can never go wrong with a WD. Glad they have a portable 3TB drive. Makes it easy to save all my data without a WD book.

Needed extra storage space for my Xbox one. Was looking at the 2tb but saw this 3tb and decided to get the extra tb.

This little device is easy to use with plenty of room. The backup software that's included was easy to use as well.

This drive was very easy to setup and its compact size make it very portable.

I got one for keeping large project files on and later I bought another to use for Time Machine backup on my Mac. I had to reformat them to use HFS+, but that saved me a bit on buying the "made for Mac" version. I've had the first one for about a year and the second for a month. So far, both work great.

This item is really bank for the buck as it is a very reliable brand and have never had issues with.

I have always preferred WD products since the 80's. None have failed to date under heavy use. Handy size and speed.

My wife needed a place to store photos and other media. This provided more than enough storage for a great price.
