Contains a lot of storage (for today's day and age - 2017), which enables you to put videos, movies, documents, and songs on it. Can be used to back up computer files, as well. Then just put it in a drawer or bookshelf for safe keeping, to retrieve whenever you want to view its contents. About the size of an adult hand too. Can fit easily into pocket, purse, or pack.

This little drive is great. I can backup my entire system drive onto it and still have lots of space for almost 2TB more of digital photos in raw format.

Bought to back up our vacation photos. Very easy to use. Had a smaller WD Passport and worked perfectly so it was an easy choice to choose this product.

This portable drive has been a godsend. The read/write speeds are noticeably faster than its predecessor (also a WD product). The added space has alleviated concerns regarding my iTunes library and the other work I do. Planning on purchasing another one in a different color for home videos.

I purchased this hard drive to back-up my business computer. I perform the back-up at least once a week and the hard drive has been working very well.

I have never had a problem with these drives and have several that I use for different purpose, Photo's for business, file and other storage needs.

I got this because it was on sale elsewhere and Best Buy graciously price-matched the competitor. With all the devices me and my family own, I didn't want to fill up local hard drive space on our computers and laptops with all the HD video, music files and such. This device has plenty of storage space and is compact enough to store just about anywhere out of sight.

Needed more storage for my Xbox One. BUS powered was a must, and when WD hit 3TB, it became a necessity!

This external hard drive is working great for my son who does a lot of downloads and videoing. It will keep his hard drive on his computer clearer

Purchased as a replacement for one I've been using for a few years now, they work great and my original one has lasted very well even through less than gentle treatment at times. Love how small and portable they are, and they hold SO MUCH (I'm a photographer and use them for large RAW photos and their JPEG counterparts after I edit). I would definitely recommend.

So though I have not used this drive yet. I have used other WD portable drives and have had no problems. The quality and price was a good deal.

It is a compact external drive with 2.7 TB of memory. I have had it for a month or so and have had no problems. I think the price was good.

Use this with my GoPro because the file sizes are so big. I love it!! Very easy way to store all my pictures and videos in one place!!

I did some research on this product before purchasing it. I received a great price on it through Best Buy which is one of the reasons I purchased this particular backup hard drive. It has an enormous amount of storage which is well over what my son needs for backing up his Xbox but I purchased it because of the reviews and the price.

I used to have the desktop backup but with this its small enough and easy to travel with. Highly recommend especially for Mac users.

Easy to use I downloaded the install apps on my laptop and was backing up all my files and my iCloud off my iPhone 6s Plus in minutes.
