Reliability with storage is more important I have had WD drives from many years ago and all of them still work. I buy one of these every 5 years and this one has improved from previous version.

My old desktop was going bad, it was almost full at 950 GB of data. I needed to dump everything into my new laptop but my laptop only came with 250 GB of room. What to do? External drive. This Passport is 4 TB.... I just plugged it into my laptop and boom, it's another drive, and ALL my desktop docs are there, ready to use 24/7.

I bought this hard drive for backup of my old Mac Mini. I'm using TimeMachine for backup. I plugged it in and set up TimeMachine on it. It's doing it's job. I've had it for a little more than one month. No problems. Hard drives are a long-term investment. I haven't had it long enough to say much more about it.

I bought this guy again but the 4TB version! I own the SanDisk Extreme Portable SSD for on-the-go editing and when I transfer raw photos and even 4K drone videos to the My Passport it is incredibly fast. I used to peruse my fridge for half an hour but now I can literally watch the transfer happen as fast as I can pour a cup of coffee and get straight to editing. Keeps the motivation and workflow efficient! Note: I partitioned the drive as an exFAT to use on both PC and Mac and to transfer and copy large files.

Great portable Hard Drive. Replaced my old Western Digital 500 GB drive. Nice little compact size and tons of space for storing everything. Love how this is USB-C but also had the adapter for regular USB 3.0.

I had a hard time to find the perfect and the smoothest hard drive until I got this one from BestBuy. I like it and it so easy to use. it's special for me. I love it.

Wish I would of got a different color and wish the cord was longer but the value is more than enough.

Fast downloading and great storage. Needed it to store a lot of big sized photos and is doing exactly that.

I bought this to back up a couple of old computers. Unlike most of of the others I have, this one seems to keep up a reasonable speed throughout the transfer. So many start out fast and slow to a crawl after a few minutes. This one, while not as fast as SSD, hardley slowed down at all. I'm a happy camper.

Does what it is suppose to do. Hard to say anything negative about this
