Really great product that i was able to use without any issues

This USB-C portable hard drive is great, but there's one caveat. It comes with a short USB-C cable and an adapter for standard USB 2.0. But when I tested the speed, using the adapter cut read/write speed by nearly 66%. If you need to use it with an older computer, get a USB-C to USB 2.0 cable. I bought a cheap Anker cable and the speed was just as good as USB-C to USB-C.

Enough storage space to backup important files and its portable.

300 GB worth of files to transfer and moved them over in about 30-40 minutes. Being photos and large video files. This device is great! Worth the investment and compact! Simple plug and play. No issues.

The WD Passport Ultra 4 GB backup hard drive is a good value. Set-up with my HP laptop was a bit of a trial-and-error. The software was not as easy to install and it took me several tries before it cooperated. The first back-up didn't copy all of the files and I later realized that the user must check all of the files/folders on a C drive list. That list was not apparent to me on the first BU. With that said, although opening the icon to get to a new BU is clunky, the actual full BU was a breeze.

I use this all the time to transfer my music from one laptop to the next and it’s been very helpful, can’t complain about my purchase

The drive is great for what it's for, and the price is fair. But while Acronis True Image works just fine, WD Discovery is bloated and unnecessary. I would just go to the website and download Acronis. Don't install the software that is included.

I picked this drive up for a client to transfer video files onto. So far the drive is working perfectly on Mac OS.

Great for general storage would not reccomend gaming on it. If you want to game I would reccomend an ssd.
