Great Storage!

I've always had faulty/broken hard drives because the connection it used was flimsy. USB-C is extremely durable and reliable! A must for anyone who works with big projects on the go!

Needed USB-C drive for iMac backup

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Thunderbolt-3 and USB-C drives seem to be in short supply, but found this WD-My Passport Ultra 4TB drive to be just the ticket for doing a complete backup (clone) of my iMac prior to upgrading from Mojave to Catalina. I had to reformat the drive, which comes formatted for Windows, to HFS+ for Mac. That was painless, and easy. The backup, which is now bootable clone of the iMac, will allow me to fall back to Mojave should Catalina prove to be too buggy.

Lightweight

Plenty of space for the stuff I do like photography, drawing and 3d modeling. Had to format it a certain way to get it to work with my macbook
