Very fast transfer rates with the USB-C connection. Cable that it comes with is a little hard to connect, but otherwise it works like a charm once connected.

Haven"t had the Passport for very long yet, but it is similar to the last Passport we4 had. It is decent quality and handles a lot of data. We transfer many things back and forth to the PC. Mostly it is used as a backup device.

It is expensive, but relevant to purchase if one desire to save any kind of files and documents.

So far so good. It has fast write read times and I like that it came with security software to encrypt the drive unless I decrypt it from my computer.

Easy to use for plug n play data backups. The specific software from WD is a bit of a mess but Windows doesn't really need it for what I am doing.

I really just bought this drive because I needed to get an adapter for USB-C, but you can never have enough good drives in production world. So far it's been a great drive and helpful large capacity.

The drive checked all the boxes I needed: USB3.0 external 3yr warranty I also purchased when it was very heavily discounted. I have had decent experience with WD drives, all the way back the the Raptor 10k drives, so I continue to purchase them as needed. the encryption is a plus.
