I use this for time machine backups. Works fine and no issues. I also have a solid state that blows this away in speed, but is was 4 times the cost and half the capacity.

Wow, while IT badgers me at work for taking up too much space (I kid you not), getting this little piece of hardware which plugs in to my many USB ports--voila! IT is off my back. Windows 10,8.1,8, and 7 all access it readily and life is grand.

Plug and play portable USB 3.0 device worked seamlessly right off the bat. Silent and stays cool.

It is a good unit, it has enough memory for my needs. Count me as a satisfied customer.

We subject this drive to many rewrites as a transfer drive and have yet to have any issues

Not really easy to use with apple products. Get the one for Macs for apple products. Didn’t know they had one until after my struggles with this one.

I literally bought this because it was the best/fastest shipped option I had in response to a failing NAS drive. - it got to me before my previous drive failed, saved me a bunch of headache, so it did the job I like the size (very portable), write speeds are acceptable, now it's my little porable hard drive while I re-think my NAS situation.

I waited a while before buying this because I wasn't sure if it would work for me. It is great! Super easy to use and works well, I take lots of pictures and didn't want to use all my computer space.

Works as it should. Not set up in the beginning for Mac, must reformat or purchase Mac version

I bought it as a back up drive and has worked very well for that. We haven’t had a crash but the backups run pretty quickly.

I have several backup/external drives for larger art files etc.. Bought this drive when a recent Microsoft update forced us to wipe and reinstall the operating system. This drive was a LIFE saver. Intuitive and easy to use. Great purchase.
