    I have a desktop, high-end computer with 6TB total storage. The WD Passport 4TB with a USB 3.0 port makes the backup a perfect spot for my backups.

    After downloading various apps associated with the unit - I had several days of interrupted usage. After finally removing the password protection - seems to be working. Had other units such as Free Agent Go Flex - that worked correctly after initial plug in

    Used to replace my 2TB MP Ultra drive. So far so good! Reformatted to ExFat to be used by both Windows and MAC OS.. no problem.

    If you use Mac OS you’ll need to install the software to run the drive but it’s great!!!! Super fast
