    Good external drive but this unit was missing the security software so you can add a pass code to lock the unit. Thankfully, you can go to the WD site and download the software but quality control should have caught this.

    Works well...in fact if you are not using this for in the field backups etc, this has significantly better value than a ssd version.

    Small and portable, powered by the USB cable. Wish it was faster, but that's the limitation with these mechanical drives running at 5.6k rpm.
