Great hard drive, but a warning

It comes with a short USB-C cable and an adapter for standard USB 2.0. But when I tested the speed, using the adapter cut read/write speed by nearly 66%. If you need to use it with an older computer, get a USB-C to USB 2.0 cable. I bought a cheap Anker cable and the speed was just as good as USB-C to USB-C.

A good drive, with one caveat

But while Acronis True Image works just fine, WD Discovery is bloated and unnecessary. I would just go to the website and download Acronis. Don't install the software that is included.
