Each is dedicated to preserving files of particular subject matter, such as Photos/Videos, Music, Important Documents, etc. This latest addition is holding the transfer of thousands of files from a Desktop that I am recycling. The transfer was simple and I still have 2/3 of the hard drive blank.

The drive is nicely sized- about the same as the original, just a little thicker. It doesn't seem to be faster but not significantly slower than the smaller drive.
