Great portable drive with only one concern

Works like a champ the only concern I have is that the standard connector is USB C to USB C and, while it comes with a USB C to USB A adaptor, it is an adaptor and you're out of luck without a C port on your computer and no adaptor...don't loose it and this is a great tool!

Included cable is useless

I owned several WD HDDs over the years and never experienced a problem. The old WD HDDs still work. I bought this one solely because of the USB-C connection. I wanted to plug it in my computer without using adaptors. It was very disappointing that the included USB-C cable was bad. The connections did not fit in the USB-C ports on my computer or in the HDD. I had to spend and extra $20 on a new cable. This is the reason for 3 stars, for not recommending to a friend, and only one star for "value".
