Love the speed and size of Passport Ultra

I had my laptop checked and there was something blocking a good connection but the problem continued after that was fixed. Don't know who's to blame.

I only use WD harddrives for my business

Overall Great Hard Drive

I wanted to upgrade to a solid state but the price just wasn't right for me. SO I went with this great 4 terabyte hard drive. It runs on a USB type -C BUT does have a convertor for a regular USB 2.0. It's very fast and sturdy. They even have cases that fit is perfectly. Don't be frustrated when it doesn't have 4000GB of data, it's 4 terabytes not 4000gbs.

Fast Enough for a External Game Library on PC

Read speeds in the 50-80s MB/s in sequential writes. Nice that is USB C 3.1 but I doubt the drive speed is fast enough to saturate the connection bandwidth. I may replace the drive in enclosure with SSD, however unsure if possible due to being a sealed drive enclosure.
