It's okay

I use it primarily for my plex media server. The issues that I have come across are: 1. Slow transfer rate. Sometimes it fails half way through because it goes so slow. 2. I has developed clicking sounds within a few months time 3. Sometimes doesn't recognize on the system So overall, its okay when it wants to work. Luckily it has a 3 yr warranty, but it hasn't completely failed yet. I wouldn't buy again or recommend.

Missing some software

Thankfully, you can go to the WD site and download the software but quality control should have caught this.

Fast data transfer
