Was looking for a bigger storage device that was 3.0 and as fits the bill very good drive been very reliable And it had a good price on it

I bought this so I could load it up with a bunch of digital media to use with my Samsung Note 8 directly. It works perfectly!!! Make sure you plug it into your phone FIRST before loading it up with media (lesson learned the hard way), so it can format it. After that you can go back and forth between your phone and your computer. It will drain your phone battery faster, but that should be expected. It has my recommendation for those want the convenience of USB-C. It also came with the USB-A adapter.

Really like the large 4TB size external drive for storing and protecting my important records and family pictures. The WD drive also includes some free excellent software for things like setting up password protection for the drive, etc. Very well made drive and comes with all the necessary information and the cable for getting up and running quickly. It works perfectly in my Windows 10 ASUS computer.

This storage device works a treat on my MacBook Pro. However, I loaded the WD software that came with the device and immediately had problems with this and other disk drives, especially with Time Machine and an older RAID system that's been solid for years. Buy the device, but load the software at your own risk. I'll concede that there may have been cockpit problems on my part, but uninstalling the WD software as recommended in an article found on the web brought my system and drives back to normal.

My husband purchased this and says its great. Easy to use and seems like it's going to last him quite a while.

This W My Passport Ultra TB External hard drive is going to store all the photos I am scanning for my children and grandchildren to have access to after I’m gone. I’ve also moved all the photos that have been on my MacBook to the drive so that I have moe memory now on the laptop.

Love the storage capacity. Transfer speed leaves a lot to be desired. Price was a value for the storage space.
