This was a great drive for the price. It was already formatted for my Mac so all I had to do was plug it in. It’s been about a month and I haven’t had any problems.

I have used several WD hard drives over the years and this has been one of the slowest. I can not use Final Cut Pro X with files on this drive because it’s just not fast enough. For other storage it’s great but I use a lot of storage with making videos on Final Cut Pro

This slim and compact external hard drive is exactly what I needed. Light weight and comfortable. More storage space than I need, thus far.

I needed an external hard drive where I could store all those iPhone photos that I'd taken but were now bogging down my iPhone memory. I didn't want them to be part of my Lightroom files, but I wanted them to be accessible. Using this hard drive allowed me to store multitude photos for several different categories all in one place. Love it! I can even write the years for its photo contents on the outside of the drive if I need to begin a second one for my storage. Good solution!

This was easy to sink to my Mac, and downloaded my many files quicker than I anticipated. It was a great value for the storage space too. I would highly recommend this as a "Best Buy"!

This hard is good for storage, if you don't want it put to much things on your ssd. Although it's not the fastest, it doesn't take to long got downloads. I would recommend a ssd for everyday use downloads but this is great for backup storage.
