Works well with USB 3 but not with USB 2. My XP system saw the device but would not assign a drive letter hence I could not read or write to it. Would recommend if and only if using Windows 10 operating system.

If you are looking to expand your XB1 storage space, look no further. This little portable HD does the job perfectly at a reasonable price. Installation is a snap. Just plug it in, format it, and choose if you want to make it your primary storage device. It's powered by the USB cord so there is no need to use an additional outlet. It's also a nice aesthetic match for your XB1 (in case that matters to you). Great buy!

Wish it was smaller to carry around but it does the job.

Works great with Xbox one; just wish it was a larger TB.

Pay attention to what the drives are geared toward. These were geared more toward gaming. I returned them and god regular WD Passports instead.

I have 3 WD drives, 1TB, 2TB & a 4TB, all except the 4TB are not working. I tried repairing myself due to them just being out of the warranty period(obviously) but to no avail...... Just purchased a seagate drive & will review it's operations later....cheers!

Just plugged and played, right on my Xbox One. Installed a brand new game, right on to the drive, ran great. No lag on load, very pleased. A lot of room for a great price. I recommend this to any 500 gig consoles owners.

I purchased this drive to supplement my Xbox One storage. This drive balance good price and size. It installed very easily. Just plug it in to USB 3.0's on rear, go to storage, manage storage, and format it for games. Boom done. I would recommend this for anyone with a Xbox One.

I downloaded taxes on this and it never worked again. By the time I checked it was too late to get any warranty service. Bummer.

Connected it to 4 different devices, and none could detect it.

I picked this up yesterday, and was expecting a some headache getting my xbox one to recognized and use this drive. As soon as i plugged it in, it was recognized. This doesn't require any power, just a single usb 3 cable to my xbox and thats it. It has a high read/write speed and my game load times have improved . It runs quiet and no problems yet.

Love this for the added storage on my xbox one. Make sure to plug it in while the console is running so that it recognized the drive.

Went home, plugged it in, followed the online instructions, and it worked. Very easy to setup and only took minutes.

Bought for my so to allow more space for his xbox one. Really wish I had purchased a long time ago.

I love having the option of using this 2TB HD externally on my XB1, I can unplug it go to my friends apartment and plug it in, sign in and BOOM! We are right into the action of the game, no need to wait for it to download. Great for testing games with friends!
