I highly recommend this device! It has an insanely simple plug and play set up. This is by far the easiest external out there for Xbox.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.My son's Day one Xbox One(500gb) was low on memory so, I bought another with 1TB(Advance Warfare edition) hard drive and that too is now low on memory less than 1gb left. So I bought him this and he's very happy. Everything you download takes up a lot of memory in HD so, one of these is almost a must. Great thing about this is, you don't have to transfer the content of the console to this device because Xbox reads it as another hard drive and just saves the new content to this. I don't know about other portable hard drives but this is the only one that says Xbox One compatible.

The games nowadays requires a lot of memory space. So, one of these is almost necessary. It's a great because it's plug and play. My son's 1TB Xbox one is now a 3TB console. Going to look for another for his PS4. I definitely recommend it.

I'm really happy with it I have like 20+ full games not even half way out of memory. Was Very easy to set up plug in formate and good to go. Did I mention u can go to friends house with just HD sign in to your account and play immediately. I told a few people about this HD and they going to purchase one

- A:Answer When researching external hard drives to expand my grandson's Xbox 1, the product description on bestbuy.com stated that it is compatible for Xbox 360. I don't know whether both format games can be stored at the same time. My grandson uses this exclusively with his Xbox 1.

- A:Answer Any hard drive is compatible with a Mac. IF you buy a Mac version, it comes preformated with a Mac partition. If its a regular external hard disk, passport or any other, just launch disk utility and change the partition to Mac , and within seconds it will be ready for you to use it with your Mac. You'll just need to give it a name when you create the new partition.
