My Xbox One only has the 500GB hard drive, I was running low on space so I bought this. I don't think you can go wrong for $100. Now I have plenty of storage for my Xbox, and with it's compact size, it stays out of the way. I moved all my games and movies that I don't play or watch regularly to the external hard drive. My theory is keep the stuff you use often on the main hard drive and then put the stuff you don't access as often on the external drive, for optimal performance. I honesty can't tell a difference in operating speed with games that are on the internal hard drive versus this external hard drive...which is great. I know with past computers/external hard drives, the external is usually slower than the internal. Doesn't seem noticeable for this, which is great. I highly recommend this if you are looking for extra storage for your Xbox one!

I ran out of space on my Xbox One and decided to pick this hard drive up. The setup is very simple; plug it in and select use for Games & Apps. It took maybe 25 seconds at the most and showed up as an extra 1.8TB of storage. There is a cheaper version (My Passport Ultra) but I liked the simple setup that this one provided. Pick one up if you're low on space and I'm sure you'll love it. *This hard drive stays powered on even while your system (Xbox One) is off. This doesn't cause any problems because the platters don't spin, however the light does blink.

It's a great external hard drive. When I started running low on internal hard drive space on my Xbox One, I picked up this external hard drive. Tons of memory, very small (a shade bigger than a pack of cards), extremely easy install/setup (if you can plug in a USB you can set this up) and is just what I needed to expand the memory on my Xbox. Awesome product!

This is a nice external hard drive. It is used to backup and expand an Xbox One. It was purchased specifically for its compatibility with Xbox. It has been attached constantly for several weeks with no problems. It has an unobtrusive flashing LED when idle. The compactness is a plus. It looks good too. Western Digital seems to have gotten it right with this drive.

Fine so far but no telling howling it will go. Last ext hd quit without warning, so I have high but qualified hopes for this one. Storage capacity, price, size and sound (no noise!) all excellent. I'll say yes in the next box because I have to say something, but I won't know if it's true for a couple of years.

One of the biggest flops of the next gen consoles was the lack of space. You could not have all your games save onto your console. This little gem has over 20 games on it and is not even a quarter full. Very small, plugs into your console no power source needed. Formatting was simple and install was easy.

Stored games run off of it without any noticeable lag. Added needed space to a filled system. Plugged it in and followed the prompts without a hitch. No noise and small enough to be hidden. The way some games install and update gigs of data just about makes this a requirement for the Xbox one

Works great on my sons Xbox, would definitely recommend this as an upgrade for more hard drive space. Very easy set up.

Bought this to expand the space on my XBox One and wasn't disappointed. It's pre-formatted for XBox One, so, just plug and play. Transfers are reasonably speeds for their sizes. A small price to pay for a little extra cost. It's small size means that I can bring my games with me to another person's XBox One and play wherever I am.

Bestbuy had the best deal around on this much needed hard drive for the Xbox One. The games nowadays requires a lot of memory space. So, one of these is almost necessary. It's a great because it's plug and play. My son's 1TB Xbox one is now a 3TB console. Going to look for another for his PS4. I definitely recommend it.

It has a large amount of storage and is fast. Not to mention it's very compact.

I purchased this to free up space on my Xbox. I love how compact it is as I didn't have much space to put a larger hard drive. Easy installation to the Xbox just plug in and follow directions. Worth the money in my book.

Ran out of space had to delete games to download more so I finally decide to purchase this HD. I'm really happy with it I have like 20+ full games not even half way out of memory. Was Very easy to set up plug in formate and good to go. Did I mention u can go to friends house with just HD sign in to your account and play immediately. I told a few people about this HD and they going to purchase one

This external hard drive was really easy to install on my one TB XBox One that was almost out of memory. It is wonderful. I now have a total of 3 TB and plenty of room for new games/apps. It has worked well without any problems, looks good. And my purchase experience at Best Buy was outstanding!

This drive is quick and also was easy to set up on XBox One. The light in the back constantly blinks, even when the XBox is off, which is annoying. Maybe some electrical tape to cover it?

Buy it for using it with the Xbox One. A couple of seconds faster gaming loads. Easy to use and practical desing. Completly quite!!! The only cons so far it takes some time to transfer the data from the Xbox to the new disk but I tinks that's because the lower internal hdd from One!!!

If you're looking to fit all your games, look no further! Installation is as easy as a software update on your Xbox One. I've installed about 15 games and have only used up about 30%. It's a "must have" if you game and get annoyed of uninstalling and reinstalling

With all the free games that are offered through Xbox Live, this device gives me the room to download and play whatever I want, whenever I want, and most importantly wherever I want! I highly recommend this device! It has an insanely simple plug and play set up. This is by far the easiest external out there for Xbox.

I use this for my Xbox One and with the 2TB hard drive, I know have plenty of space for all my games, plus more!! Set up is very easy, just takes a few seconds/minutes for the Xbox to format and then you're all ready to go. Definitely recommend this for anyone needing to upgrade their memory for their console.
