Picked this up hoping it would do the job. Does even better. Helps me to expand the amount of games i can have with my xbox while not taking up a whole lot of space in the process.

Picked one of these up a couple months back to make a backup of my PS4. Also, I needed to have a External Drive laying around that I could store files on as a backup since I don't use it that often. The drive is pretty quick, but it's not really about speed as much as storage capacity. If you're looking for a drive to have super fast transfer rates, then you need to look at an external SSD. Otherwise for day to day file backup's this drive is well more than sufficient and should suit anyone's needs.

No mods. No fuss. Just Plug-N-Play with the USB port of the Xbox One and continue playing with all your hard earned games saved on the portable hard drive. Very convenient when it also comes to upgrading to another Xbox One console. No more 500 GB internal console hard drive limits. Oh, yes!!!

Worked out great was able to use it and grab pictures off of the old hard drive didn't have to take it down to a technician now I can grab all that valuable information off of my old computers and store it really easy-to-use couple screws And you're done I recommend this to anybody looking for a do it yourself fix

Recently purchased this little (in physical size) portable backup drive to back up my hard drive prior to upgrading to Windows 10. It is fast, reliable, and easy to use. Would highly recommend.

I always use WD and I'm not quite sure if this model makes a difference in gaming but it is advertised as so. I have had zero problems and I already have 30 games (of assorted sizes) stored & still have a TB left. Nice External 3.0 drive. Also like the portability, I can bring games over to my friends' place.

The only problem I found with the Xbox one is the amount of memory it takes when you download a game. So a two terabyte external memory for the price was great I didn't want to get rid of the games l already had downloaded. It had a few updates and I had to format it but after that I got plenty of memory.

Bought because I ran out of storage on my XBOX. This seemed to be the only one that showed up on the Best Buy site as an accessory for the system...and it works perfectly! Games load fine, same speeds - no issues! Definitely recommend.

This external drive works just like it should, I plugged it into my XBone and it immediately asked for me to format, then I moved all my games and programs to it. Now I will not have to worry about storage for quite some time.

Needed a memory expansion for my Xbox One S. This drive was less expensive than the Microsoft branded drive with the same storage capacity. Works great with my system.

I needed to find some more space since I was getting low on the internal 500GB drive. This was the same price of that infamous "Prime" web site. Plugged in the drive, formatted again to be sure it was clean and moved all of the dozen or so games and apps to the drive. I now have a clean system drive and enough room for dozens more games. The load speed is about the same as before when running off of the internal drive. Occasionally, the Xbox won't see the drive but a restart solves that problem. All around, a decent product.

It's small size can't be beat. It is portable. The price is right. It just works and is 2 terrabytes. Consider buying it.

I bought this hard drive as I thought it was a great deal. I primarily used this hard drive for backing-up my video clips for video editing. However, after a month of use, my unit began making a clicking sound whereupon my Premiere Pro clips would go missing. I would still recommend this product to someone looking for lots of space and speed, At the same time, be forewarned that portable hard drives can fail if you stress them too much (i.e. using video clips from a port. hard drive on video editing sequence). I learned this lesson the hard way. : (

Have this hooked up to my xbox one. I maxed out my onboard storage and this effectively triples what I had originally. Performance is nothing special, seems to work as fast as internal hd which I suppose is good. No extra power needed, runs off USB power. No noticeable heat increase while running. I just wish the LED in the back wasn't so bright. I had to position in my entertainment center so that the LED doesn't show so much, otherwise it would be distracting. If it were noticeably faster I would give it 5 stars.

I have never used and external memory source, was worried it would be difficult but just plug it in and go! It is also nice to have because if your friend doesn't have a game you can take your drive and disk over and plug it in and play, no waiting on download

I initially bought this external hard drive for xbox use. BUT little did I realize that this thing was lightning fast and has a lot more than the average storing space for your average joe! I doubled the storage space and bought another because lets face it, sometimes you just can't pass up such a great deal. I will be creating a personal cloud with the new 4GB version of this in order to keep from paying other companies for their service ;) i suggest anyone looking for a little more than average storage to highly consider this !

I got this as a gift for my boyfriend so he could download more games for his xbox one. It was very easy to install...just plugged it in and followed a few easy on screen instrustructions. It serves it's purpose and was exactly what we were looking for.
