    WD Red have been my favorite go to drives for both of my NAS boxes. Out of 20+ drives I've only had one drive go bad after years of use. Unlike another company (SG) I used to use which 80% would fail.

    What can I say other than they work as advertised. I purchased 2 to add to Raid device. I already had 2 of the same but a smaller size in the same device that have been working great for over 7 years.

    Bought 2 of these WD Reds for my Synology DS920+. I'm writing this 6 months later, still no issues, they're a lot quieter than my HGST drives.

    Western Digital Products have always been good products. As with all manufacturers, there are models that are not as good, but this is a rock solid model.
