I thought it would give all around protection but only works on their search engine. Not going to keep the subscription

It's saying I'm protected but it does an awfully fast scan compared to my old product which seems like it scanned longer and more items. But I will give it my trust so far.

Posted .When the Webroot agent scans the system, it will look in all areas where malware is likely to hide such as the temporary and windows folders. It does not scan the entire system because the real-time shield will block any suspicious file that attempts to execute.

Not good for my purpose

I had it installed for about a week until discovering that it also blocks online games. Avast free antivirus has been working fine for us for years so I am back to Avast.

It bogged it down significantly, despite the awesome processor that my Surface has. I uninstalled it after two days and installed McAfee. Works much better now.

Mobile part not useful

It's not having an anti-virus software scan all your traffic on the phone, and it's not very useful.

Posted .Apple controls the Security of their mobile devices through their built-in system updates. They have not given Developers the ability to make a file scanning app for iPhones or iPads.

After scanning for viruses, the webroot virus protection indicated that there were no detection of any viruses and that was not so.

It was a 6 hour process to put onto my new computer. Apparently my computer came with McAfee installed and wouldn't let Webroot install. IT had to uninstall McAfee and then install Webroot and it took way longer than it should and I am suspicious that they did something to mess up my day old computer because it didn't work right afterwards and the screen blacks out randomly now during use.
