I currently use another protection program for free which I am satisfied with. But it is nice of Best Buy to include some sort of anti virus program.

inadequate cheap computer

I shopped for 2 months for another Toshiba Satellite under $1,000. When I was unable to find it, I settled for a $200 HP. It is slow, inflexible and a mistake.

Apple recommends malwarebytes and I have switched to that as well. Again not terrible choice but there are better options out there.

Unnecessary for an Apple IOS System
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The Webroot software was a freebie from Best Buy when I purchased my MacBook Air and I found that it caused conflicts with some of the built in features of the machine, one being the "dictation" function. I ultimately had to uninstall it to get my machine to work properly and only after getting Apple Support to help me rid my system of it did it finally begin working as the manufacturer intended. I would not recommend installing this software as it provides nothing not already inherent within the IOS itself and may well cause your machine to work improperly as a result.

Why do we need this?

We are always asked to pay for more space on so many platforms and quite frankly I'm over it. I think that this item is a needless addition and a way for savvy software interlopers to generate cash at the PC users expense. It's fine if it's free for a year but then you are constantly receiving messages on the screen to renew your subscription. As I said before I'm over it.
