And when I would remove the box like close it out it kept popping up I couldn't do nothing with the laptop so I had to remove the whole app it's self off my laptop

However looking online implies that it will automatically charge my credit card if I don't cancel before the trial expires. Don't fall for it!

Posted .The auto-renewal is only applicable if you opt in during the first actual transaction with Webroot, the trial does not record any card information so there are no automatic charges at that point.

Every time i go to yahoo after reading a few stories i get a pop up that counts down and says windows has been infected. Webroot scan never shows anything at all.

I've only had this for 2 months and things started coming saying my passwords were at risk. Do not turn off your computer. I deleted it and put AVG on it and it found the problem with the first search.

I already have Norton through Comcast so as soon as I got home I cancelled this.

It locked up my Internet connection and I didn't have the patience nor the expertise to figure out the problem.

They wanted my credit card when it was supposed to be free for six months. Not sure what occurred, but a gift bag would have been nicer.

This was not loaded on the laptop, McAfee was, I was also told it was $2.99..it was not. It was $20.00..waste of time and money
