Nice software to protect your device. Honestly, I have not used it much, but it was highly recommended to me by the salesperson that helped me when I got it.

Kind of dumb not to get it with the laptop purchase. Ended up being super cheap (less than $3) & I can use it on my other computers since it is good for 3 systems.

I got this as a free trial from Best Buy. It works fairly well and is easy to use. Not bad if you ask me. There's no special features. It's pretty cut and dry. It has malware protection for both computer and internet access. Works pretty well :)

Seriously, how do you rate an anti-virus product? To my knowledge, I have no viruses, spyware or malware so I'm guessing that Webroot is doing its job. A 6-month free subscription came with my new computer so I decided to try it, and contrary to other reviews, it installed quickly and easily. It also appears to be running and updating quietly in the background without any drain on system resources. I'm a little suspicious that it can scan my entire computer in less than a minute whereas my previous virus program (Eset) took at least an hour to scan just the C drive on my last computer, but I'm telling myself that the new machine doesn't contain nearly the number of files of my last one. Right??? Anyway, if all continues to be well, I may change to Webroot when my free trial period is over.

I think it was PC Magazine that called this product, after extensive testing and comparing to the others.....one of the 2 or 3 best in the world. I like it a great deal, I think I'll stick with it for many years.
