    I don't know too much about computers, their viruses, and the such. I do know that I've had Windows devices in the past that stopped working properly due to viruses. I got the Webroot 6-month subscription free when I purchased a Windows labtop from Best Buy. I took the advice of the Geek Squad person and deleted the free trial internet security that came installed in the laptop and installed the Webroot instead. The install process was easy, and so far it appears to be doing the job in regards to keeping the laptop running smoothly. There's nothing spectacular about it, but I would consider purchasing it at a reduced price to use in the future if it ever goes on sale. Hope this helps. Thanks. Matthew 7:12

    Originally I got another virus protection program with my new laptop but had nothing but problems with the software. Webroot was so much easier to install, it runs like a dream and I've had no complications so far.

    It's great to have the free trial - but this Virus Software has limited applications. Better to invest the money and get a more comprehensive program through Norton or Kasperky.
