Have never encountered any hiccups with the application, scans or definition updates. (This was not my experience with many other well-known virus protection applications.)

It was also the recommendation of the Geek Squad. It seems to be doing a good job and is not annoying to use.

Decent security suite

I do know that when using it in the past it was a great product. Did not seem to slow down my laptop at all.
