I had read various online reviews. The majority were very positive, so I switched. It absolutely does not block ads or pop-ups even though it indicates ad pop-up blacker is turned on. On the plus side, it did "red screen" warn about a website. No real options to customize.

They tried to sell me the renewal at time of computer purchase for only 20 but I decided I wanted to see if I liked it and do some research as to how it compared to McAfee, etc. I think I like it more so I will probably renew when time comes. Easy and seems to cover all needs.
