Nothing has happend for me to doubt that this product is keeping my computer safe. However, I believe I determined that my older computer, with Windows XP, does not qualify to be included.

We were encouraged to buy this with a new Lenovo we purchased. After a few weeks we decided to take the Lenovo back to get a Apple MacBook. BEST BUY gave us a Full refund including on this Security Program "THANK YOU X10". Best Buy has always been great with returns. As a family of Mac users we have never needed any virus protections 'yet'. What ever comes with the Apple OS always seems to do all we need. Maybe this is great for a PC user as I hear they NEED more protection. Have the Russians ever hacked into a Mac? Didn't the Russians make an "anti-virus program" they sold to the Pentagon or is that a myth? Where was this program developed ? No worries here in our "Apple home" and PS: "Best Buy got us the BEST price" on a Mac so all is good again...no protection needed here. Thank you.

As the title of this review indicates, my take on this products is more of a comparison to McAfee. I just could not go on using McAfee because the program was too intrusive. This program basically runs in the background. I had to check couple of times to see if it's running at all and if scheduled scans were actually performed. Since my system is clean, has been so far, I have no complaints what so ever.

I've had Trend Micro for many years and never once got a virus. The big difference between Web Root and Trend is there would be times Trend would slow my PC down where Web Root does not. I've only had Web Root for a couple months and so far very pleased with it.

I feel pretty secure while browsing the internet. No threats have made it past Webroot.

I feel a little safer surfing the web knowing that Webroot is protecting my computer.

This came free with the purchase of the Best Buy warranty with a computer purchase. It has has great protection and I don't notice it at all running on my computer, which is great compared to other virus scanners I tried. Ad free. Also, it included a license for 2 computers.

This security is the best! Not disappointed neither will you be. The best I have had!

I wanted a product to keep my computer secure and Webroot seems to be doing the job.

We purchased the Webroot program to load on a new laptop and it installed very easily. It allowed for install on 3 devices so also loaded on an older computer with an expired Webroot subscription. That proved to be a little more difficult but we got it accomplished. I will say that getting help was impossible if you don't have Geek Squad services. The contact number for Webroot is Best Buy Geek Squad. Paid $80 for the Webroot and they wanted $40 to help me with the install. Luckily I was able to find a friend to assist. I can't say if the program offers the protection it claims but I read reviews ahead of time so I'm confident it will.

I'm glad that they give us virus proteccion the only thing is one year is not enough!
