I have had no problems with Webroot since buying it with a new computer.

I've used several different virus protections in the past but this one operates the best.

Much to the disagreement of my Information Technology colleague, I uploaded this on my computer about 14-days after testing out my computer. Initially, it had attached itself to Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox and I had to go into Settings and amend those things. Honestly, this has not shown me one pop-up; therefore, I do not know what the true purpose of it is for. The scan it does takes only a few minutes, nevertheless, I do not see a "full scan" of any kind. This has great ratings all over the Internet . . . I am, sadly, unaware what is going on with this product. Perhaps I simply do not have any malware on my computer, which is great. Yet, I will keep this FREE bundled item for the duration of the six-month period and hopefully can find out what it is actually checking out during its scan.

I have to say I was at first reluctant to not go with one of the large, hugely promoted protection software programs. But, over the last year-and-a-half I've been with my current company, I've been installing it on all of our new machines (PCs and laptops). It works quietly in the background, takes up very little memory, and does its job very well. I'm impressed and actually do use it on my home laptop as well.
